Artificial intelligences can paint pictures, generate images, and even write scripts and songs… although in some cases their results are quite weak. However, the YouTube channel Speaking of AI decided to double down by using a combination of GPT-3 and voice deepfakes to write a completely original Jerry Seinfeld routine.
Seinfeld doesn't need any kind of introduction at this point. Nine seasons, 180 episodes, and the belief among its fans that it's the best sitcom in history. Note that I said "is" and not "was", because they keep watching their favorite seasons frequently, and can even repeat its routines from memory.
Logically, it was only a matter of time before Seinfeld (both the series and Jerry himself) became training material for an artificial intelligence project. That's how we get to the Speaking of AI channel, known for its processing of famous voices. Its latest work is a video in which an artificial intelligence wrote a new Jerry Seinfeld routine, and also took care of reproducing his voice.

The most obvious point to criticize is the "lack of emotion" in the artificial voice, but if for a moment we imagine this routine with Jerry's tone changes and body language... it's excellent. Speaking of AI explains that the video uses a combination of GPT-3 (which wrote the routine) and models based on Tacotron 2 and WaveRNN for the voice.
