A New Trailer
We already showed you the first trailer and the behind the scenes of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first film in a new series of standalone stories in the Star Wars universe. This time we present a new and exceptional trailer for the new Star Wars movie, full of action, showing Jyn Erso and Captain Cassian Andor working for the Rebel forces on a mission to steal the Death Star plans, the Empire's ultimate weapon, before it can be used on the Emperor's orders.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will show the beginnings of the Rebel Alliance in its fight against the Galactic Empire, which dominates most of the planets in the galaxy. In this trailer we can learn a bit more about the rest of the characters, such as Saw Gerrera, a veteran of the Clone Wars who fights against the Empire (this character had already appeared previously in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars). Another standout is Chirrut Îmwe, a deeply spiritual warrior who follows the path of the Force, even though he cannot use his abilities. Despite being blind, this does not prevent him from being a highly qualified combatant.
But without a doubt, the best part is at the end, with the appearance of the iconic villain Darth Vader. The battles promise to be more epic than ever, both on foot and in ships. Indeed, you can see the new rebel U-Wing ships and a new model of the Imperial AT-ACTs.
The film features a cast led by Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Riz Ahmed, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, and James Earl Jones, who will once again voice Darth Vader. Produced by Lucasfilm and directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters, Godzilla), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to be released on December 16, 2016.
