Alinea Analytics estimated that Phantom Blade Zero sold 4.3 million copies and generated $223 million in revenue across Steam and PlayStation during its first five days. The estimate was published on November 3, 2026.
Alinea’s estimate spans Steam and PlayStation
Alinea assigns the estimated copies as follows:
| Platform | Estimated copies |
| Steam | 3.1 million |
| PlayStation | 1.2 million |
| Combined | 4.3 million |
Copy share and revenue share differ by region
Alinea estimates that China, Taiwan and Hong Kong together accounted for 55% of copies and 45% of revenue. Its platform breakdown puts the same three-market group at 56% of Steam copies and 47% of Steam revenue, and at 50% of PlayStation copies and 40% of PlayStation revenue.
Alinea attributed the gap between the group’s share of copies and revenue to regional pricing. Its comparison used a $59.99 US base-price figure, alongside equivalents of $40.31 for China and $41.80 for Hong Kong.
S-Game’s earlier figure had a different source and date
Alinea’s November 3 article also said S-Game had reported 4 million copies on November 2. That was the studio figure as relayed by Alinea; the 4.3 million figure is Alinea’s own estimate. NeoTeo covered the earlier 72-hour sales report.
Player reactions offer opinions, not sales measurements
Comments in a PlayStation discussion and a Games discussion included praise for the game and questions about whether quality alone explains strong sales. Those are player opinions, not measurements of what drove purchases.
