TweakTown reported on Oct. 31, 2026, that AnyPS5 had implemented 7,216 of 27,404 declared system-library functions, or 26.33%. Its report compared that figure with a tracker-history peak of 3,683 of 4,029 functions, or 91.41%, reported for Oct. 18. The percentage fell as the tracked inventory grew much faster than the implemented count: implementations rose by 3,533, about 95.9%, while the declared total reached about 6.8 times its earlier size.

Why the coverage percentage fell

Tracker referenceImplemented functionsDeclared functionsCoverage
Peak reported for Oct. 18, 20263,6834,02991.41%

Between the two October figures, the share declined by 65.08 percentage points even as the implemented count nearly doubled. TweakTown attributed the larger inventory to additional functions found as contributors analyzed hundreds of newly inspected PS5 game dumps.

What the AnyPS5 tracker counts

The AnyPS5 progress tracker counts functions declared in core/libs/prx, not every function exported by PS5 firmware. It marks a function as implemented when it no longer calls NotImplemented_nid_no_patch; comparison reports separately flag implementations whose body only returns a constant or throws. The percentage describes this project-defined function inventory, not the share of PS5 games that run.

When viewed on Nov. 3, the tracker displayed 9,843 of 36,944 functions, or 26.64%. The page does not assign a date to that displayed snapshot.

Shader-recompiler counts track a separate part of the work. NeoTeo’s earlier coverage of AnyPS5’s shader-instruction progress discusses that graphics-side metric. The tracker listed 1,459 translator cases among 1,460 decoded instruction forms, 199 of 202 DPP forms decoded, and 147 unsupported-throw sites. It describes these as code counts, not game-play tests; a translator case does not establish that the translation is correct.
