As every year during the Super Bowl, a barrage of movie trailers was presented. One of the most acclaimed was the trailer for Captain America: Civil War, which shows the confrontation between Captain America and Iron Man.
The story
The story of Captain America: Civil War takes place one year after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Captain America and the Avengers continue to protect the world, but after an international incident that causes severe collateral damage, politicians decide to approve a law regulating superhuman activity with government oversight to determine when to call the Avengers. As a result, the team fractures into two opposing factions: one led by Captain America, who wants to operate without regulation, and the other led by Iron Man, who supports government supervision.
The opposing teams
The trailer introduces two opposing factions. On one side is Captain America's team, composed of Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier), Sam Wilson (Falcon), Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch), Clint Barton (Hawkeye), and Scott Lang (Ant-Man). On the other side is Iron Man's team, which includes Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), James "Rhodey" Rhodes (War Machine), Vision, and T'Challa (Black Panther), the prince of the African nation of Wakanda.
Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, screenwriters of the film, borrowed concepts from the Civil War comic, published in 2006 by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, for the development of the plot.

The film features a cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo, Daniel Brühl, and William Hurt, among others. Produced by Marvel Studios, the film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier). Captain America: Civil War will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D theaters on May 6, 2016.
