The Zaschitniki have to face August Kuratov and his army of clones, who invaded Moscow to make it their central base and thus conquer the entire world. In the trailer, the Zaschitniki are shown showing off in combat, using their special abilities to fight the evil army. In fact, the powers of these superheroes reflect the strengths and traditions of the peoples they represent from the USSR nation, such as Arsus and his ability to transform into a bear, an animal represented as a symbol of the Russian country.

The most striking thing is that the movie doesn't have a big budget comparable to Hollywood productions, but the phenomenon caused by its first trailer on the Internet drew the attention of millions of viewers who eagerly await the final result of Zaschitniki. The film stars Sebastien Sisak (Ler), Anton Pampuchniy (Arsus), Sanzhar Madiev (Khan), Alina Lanina (Xenia), Valeria Shkirando and Stanislav Shirin (August Kuratov). Directed by Armenian director Sarik Andreasyan and written by Andrei Gavrilov, Zaschitniki will be released in Russian cinemas on February 23, 2017.
